We’ve spent the majority of our summer this year in one place, in Lebanon Tennessee. This was planned this way so Monica could have her knee surgery at Summit, the medical center we’ve used for many years in our other life.

The surgery went very well — much better than her other knee – vast difference in surgeons and their methods.

We got to spend time with the girls, grand kids, and Monica’s mother.

Flowers at this RV park are beautiful, and I’m sure we’re going to miss the green and these flowers when we get to OBX our next destination.

I got a number of my to-do list things done this summer thankfully. We iinstalled a washer/dryer combo by Splendide and it works better than we could have wished for. Also replaced the old tube TV in the front of the coach with a nice large flat screen. Got rid of the couch and replaced it with two rocker/recliners one of them the electric type to help Monica with her knee.

We’re off to OBX on Saturday the 27th of July as soon as we get the OK from Monica’s therapy for 8 days of toes in the sand!
