Every now and then it’s good to pause, take a break, even from such an arduous ordeal as traveling. Well that’s not entirely true for Monica and I, we have to take a few months off because it’s my turn for a knee replacement. We’re going to watch a ton of TV, catch up on small projects, and plan our next trip. It actually looks like we’ll be headed for the NorthWest, make a Spring/Summer of it traveling along our northern border then down California coast before heading back before Jessica’s baby x arrives !
As with all plans that plan is not working out. Need to get a pass from my heart Dr before they’ll drill the old knee so another delay in the game. In the meantime Easter pops up in the middle of our transition and what a wonderful day and time we had!
As you can easily see from the pictures we had Christina and her boys John and Christopher, Jessica and Shane son Hayden, Rebecca and Kayla and son Brayden. Also Kayla’s mom and grandmother and grandfather were there as well as her brother and girlfriend along with the brother’s daughter Ayala. We had lamb and ham, delicious green beans, potato and macaroni salads, brownies, pies, all sorts of snacks. We had as usual way too much food – but it’s always better to have too much than too little.
